DEPO Auto Parts Ind. Co., Ltd., founded in 1977, is a professional auto lamp manufacture, which the headquarters is located at Deer Port, Chang- Hua City.

DEPO started with only 5 employees. At this time, DEPO has become a listed company in Taiwan with over 1,700 employees. And you can find our products at over 150 countries worldwide. This remarkable expansion is achieved by every employee of DEPO.

The Environmental Policy of DEPO Auto Parts Ind. Co. is to manage the processes and material of production, in order to reduce the environmental impacts which are associated with our company. We commit to be responsible for the environmental legislations, creation of wastes and polluted air, toxic chemicals, and to use energy efficiently.

DEPO has set up three plants in Taiwan, which are Lu Kang headquarters, Yung Kang plant and Hsin Ying plant. The following pages are the general introduction of each plant.

DEPO has been constantly adopting advanced technologies to enhance the manufacturing process. The automated storage/retrieval warehouse system is one of the excellent examples which is highly reliable and productive. DEPO built this system to efficiently manage the great variety of inventories, such as molds, raw material, and finished goods. This warehouse occupied 6100 m2, 22m in height, and has up to 18,000 compartments. The warehouse is one of the most modern inventory management systems in Asia.

For more than 25 years, Yung Kang R&D center has been the driving force behind DEPO’s engineering research and development activities. The headlamp and fog lamp made in this plant results from our superior expertise in reverse engineering and tooling development. This plant has been fully equipped with photometric testing laboratory certified by TÜV. Every new item will be tested to ensure the quality and to meet regulation enacted by ECE and SAE.

In order to manage the growing demand, Hsin Ying plant will be expanded from 18324 m2 to total area of 72468 m2 by the end of 2006. In the meantime, DEPO will add another automatic warehouse system, similar to the well-proven system in Lu Kang. Once the plant expansion is completed, Hsin Ying plant will be our major headlamp/fog lamp plant in southern Taiwan.
