Intermotor formed in 1967 by Stuart Copson and George Paris. Originally sold contact sets to small retail and trade outlets.
Moved to Nottingham in 1970 and began to develop a manufacturing base. Bought machinery to make ignition coils and condensers and established a capability to make distributor caps and ignition coils.
