Scandinavian Brake Systems A/S develops, manufactures and distributes brake and friction parts for cars and motorcycles, as well as energy and industrial plant such as wind turbines. We also own 100% of the shares in Notox A/S, a company that develops and manufactures diesel particulate filters for passenger cars, heavy goods vehicles, and coaches, in addition to industrial vehicles.

We operate on the global market with our principal customers in Europe, North America and Asia, and the group's products are sold primarily to vehicle and machinery/plant manufacturers – the OE market – and to the free aftermarket.

SBS was founded in 1964 and has been listed on Copenhagen Stock Exchange since 1989.

Full range of brake pads for the European vehicle park. Stable friction characteristics, long life time and high comfort with low noise levels. The range is approved according to ECE R90 and meets the latest EU legislation on heavy metals.

The SBS brake drum range comprises more than 200 reference numbers. They are produced according to ISO 9001:2000. Stable and reliable brake performance as well as long life time makes the SBS drums the natural choice for the Aftermarket.

A full range og brake shoes for vehicles featuring rear drum brake system. Approved according to ECE R90 and produced without heavy metals. Steel parts according to EN 10025 or similar and covered with anti corrosive surface coating.

Premounted brake shoe kits

Especially for the French market SBS offers a range of premounted brake shoe kits including wheel cylinders, adjuster and accessory parts.

Includes mounting kits for drum and disc brake systems.
