ZM S.A., an metalurgical automotive industry, was established on April 25 th in 1983, in the city of Brusque – Santa Catarina.

At the beginning, the company had just a small 170 square meter rented building, where it iniciated its activities on the Solenoid manufacture. Nowadays, after some years, and running business on the lines Solenoids for Starters Motors, Lug Nuts and Cold Forging Special Parts, the company has in Brazil, a manufacturing area with around 25,000 square meters, divided in two plants with more than 900 colaborators.

Because it was the first product manufactured by ZM, the large range of Solenoids offered in these days reflect the high level of investiments and researches performed along this period, since models for cars, light and heavy trucks, motorcycles besides special machines and nautical motors.

The annual production surpass a number of 5 million units, where 60% are destinated to the Brazilian market and 40% to export.

The ZM Solenoids can be found in the main spare part distributors from Brazil and in more than 70 countries, being recognized essentially by its high quality. Besides the aftermarket, the company supplies parts for the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Starter Motors.

ZM works to supply solutions according to the market necessities, developing specific projects to each situation. Through technitians and qualified engineer teams, are researched and developed new technologies .
